Santa Cam brings home
Because of the pandemic, children were beginning to wonder if Santa would even show up. Yankee Candle eased those fears in the most magical way possible. They created Santa Cam, a live feed of Santa in his workshop. Here’s how it worked. On December 7, Mr. Claus lit a special Yankee Candle and kids got to see Santa, Mrs. Claus, and the elves getting ready for the big day. To make sure lots of children got the chance to see the Santa Cam, Yankee Candle spread the word through email, SMS, brand advocates, and social media. All on a modest budget. The result was pure holiday joy – more than 2.5 million views, with people spending an average of nine minutes on the site. Consider Christmas saved.
