AT&T Center Experience
idea

The Marketing Arm designed a multi-channel program that connected fans to their favorite AT&T Center teams – both in and out of venue – using AT&T technology.

ignition

Throughout the year, AT&T presented fans with a number of applications designed to help them stay better connected to Spurs, Silver Stars, and Rampage.  In-arena videoboards encouraged fans to use their phones during each game for live voting, polling, and trivia. During TV and radio broadcasts, fans could text in to win team and sponsor prizes.

Text alerts enabled fans to opt-in for breaking news, game updates, final scores and special sponsor offers. Mobile website pages (at attcenter.mobi) provided game recaps, schedules, and event and arena information. More than a dozen Bluetooth units strategically placed in high-traffic areas of the AT&T Center sent exclusive content directly to fans who accepted the “ping.”

And digital signage at the busiest arena entrances provided an interactive opportunity for fans to learn more about the venue and the various components of the AT&T Center Experience program.

impact

Fans who’ve participated with the program are more positively affected by AT&T’s sponsorship of the Spurs than non-participants. Further, participants agree the activities enhance their game experience and are more likely to find AT&T more innovative and passionate than non-participants.
