Bill Glenn is Senior Vice President, Managing Director for The Marketing Arm.  He joined the agency in 2004 as Chief Insights Officer to develop and leverage return on investment tools and initiatives.  In 2006, he co-developed the DBI, the industry’s premier celebrity evaluation tool.  In 2009, he moved to his current role heading the firm’s Dallas-based events group.

Prior to The Marketing Arm, Glenn served as a consultant to Cingular Wireless, leading the brand's national sports and entertainment sponsorship group. Before that, he spent 17 years with Verizon Communications, including six years in various director roles related to sponsorship and event marketing. His responsibilities included development of national and regional sponsorship strategy, integrated sports and entertainment programs, promotions, product placement, media merchandising, trade shows and sponsorship return on investment models.

Glenn is frequently quoted as a subject matter expert on sports and event strategy and sponsorship in key industry and business publications such as Adweek, Washington Post, New York Times, New York Post, Sports Business Daily, Sports Business Journal, The Dallas Morning News, CNNMoney.com, Dallas Business Journal and the IEG Sponsorship Report.  He has also appeared on Sirius Radio and Bloomberg News as well as multiple times on CNBC.

He also serves as an adjunct professor of sponsorship marketing for the University of Dallas and is a member of the Advisory Board of Baylor University’s Sports Sponsorship and Sales Program.

Glenn earned a bachelor's degree in journalism/advertising and a MBA in marketing from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
