Program Awarded: AT&T World's Loudest Pep Rally

The Marketing Arm earned a 2008 Bronze Reggie Award for its work on the AT&T "World's Loudest Pep Rally" promotion.  Created by the Promotion Marketing Association (PMA), the Reggies are dedicated to recognizing superior thinking, creativity, execution and results across the entire spectrum of promotion and integrated marketing.

The program won in the "Age Specific" category.

Students on more than 100 college campuses engaged in a nationwide contest to determine which school would win a free, live concert featuring Dave Matthews Band.  Students "invited" DMB to their campus via text and email.  Invitations included photos, videos and sound clips.  The promotion generated more than 3.2 million entries from every major U.S. university.

The U.S. Military Academy at West Point won the free, live concert. The cadets edged their fellow service school competitors from the U.S. Air Force Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy, who finished second and third, respectively.
